Today was good volume & for a while there were no sellers. Looks like another great season for Scales.

i think something may have leaked...noticed the increased volume in spite of the negative news....and they are not just about apple orchards...bought back into then around 4.40 after being out for a couple of years....I like their potential growth story now.

Unfortunately in The Bay, orchards are struggling with finding workers to remove the apples before the weekend. With apples when it rains the tree absorbs all the water and sends that water to the apple. Apples can only absorb so much water before they start to split. I believe sunshine is better than rain near harvesting. In saying that, due to those hot days and hot nights I read somewhere there are reports of sunburn on those apples. Oh well we will see when the results come out. Still a great longterm company.
