Hope that they will sniff around for little longer. After all we do have a Liabour Government that is not doing much for business confidence.

Is it the money from the chiller sale that is burning a hole in their pocket ??

A poor question to ask.. I have the utmost confidence in SCL's management .

    Disc. Holding happily.

Also interesting to see the chit chat about the Waimea dam in the document. It seems a group of ratepayers do not wish to further subsidise New Zealand's biggest beneficiaries...our farmers. How strange.

Depends how you look at it, but often there is a case in NZ Farming of socializing the costs, and privatizing the profits.

Thank you.. It will be interesting to see how quickly SCL inform shareholders where they are on this problem.

6 years of importing suspected infected material, i despair ! Its extremely hard to not think that eventually NZ will have all the diseases of the world due to incompetence, ignorance, resistance and self interest from some ofthe farmers and growers and our propensity and reliance on travel and tourism . Customs will never be vigourish enough for fear of putting tourists off. Burning material after 6 years of importation of material. Well maybe MPI are becoming more efficient and assertive, i hope it is and not just some bum covering and job justification, heres hoping.
