I remember Powerbeat, was it the company claiming to have developed a car battery that would never go flat. What became of them?

Quite a few articles on them are just a google away. The company itself was still hanging on in there for many many years afterwards. In fact I seem to recall the factory/office was STILL there even a few years ago when you drive into Hamilton. Maybe it even still is there? I was always surprised when I drove past it.
