What do you have to do to get banned around this place. Just curious.

Here's a gag about a moose that may give some CRP holders a laugh

While last week's announcement was a sad day for Crp.....in the long run the decision by the Epa will only increase the chance of Crp actually getting the consent they need...The Epa did themselves no favour's when they declined the application....I think you will find that the politicians will change the rules to suit Crp and other's....the Egm will be held on Thursday...Chris Castle's comment's will be most interesting.

A decision that has left them dead in the water is going to increase their chances? I hardly think so.
I only kept a watch from a distance on CRP and hadn't been aware that the area they hoped to mine was already banned to bottom trawlers because of possible damage to the sea bed. Don't you think this might have been a pointer as to where this was always heading?

Once the rules have been changed..this will make Crp's case more acceptable...as for dead in the water... time will tell.

Key just had his wrist slapped for looking to change the rules for Sky city and very quickly (and rightly IMHO) backtracked. If he's not going to put his neck on the block for his casino mates I wouldn't hold your breath for Chris Castle

I’ve rightfully so written off what was my humble holding, I think that’s a fair approach.
Any law change and re-submission would still require further field work and I think each of those field trips out to the Chatham Rise cost circa $1M if I recall, it would be a two year expensive process minimum.
That’s not to say it won’t happen, just that if they decide to go down that path they will need cash and would have to raise that cash at 2c, the dilution would kill any investment that shareholders presently have.
My view is the only chance of coming back from cardiac arrest and near coma death, would be if the larger shareholders finance an appeal, based on lawful interpretation of the EEZ regulations as they apply to uncertainty, but that’s really a long shot I think, it will be interesting to see what comes out of the meeting though with a degree of morbid fascination.

Key is not about to back Chris castle (directly that is)either....However private money developing national resourses and supplying the government with tax and royalties makes a lot more sense..

He tries very hard indeed!
Mr market is finally talking .008 and falling ( sorry to all holders but the management charges imo are just outrageous to say the least, charge for services yes but wait until you have all consents approved first instead of depleting the hard earned shareholders funds ).
Im not sure where this SP will end but as a shell now its worth under $ 1 mil for the whole shooting match and tax losses are only worth anything if there is a 75% shareholder continuity !!!

Are you on the same planet as the rest of us?
The EPA isn't here to pander to anyone, they are here to make sound decisions to protect the environment where its apparent or even worse not clear what the damage to the environment would have been.
The National government's clear support for TTR put egg on their face, they have supported oil exploration by bending over backwards for Stat oil & now look where that's heading. No where & fast. This government is so out of step with the way the rest of the world is heading in regards emissions & environmental protection its an embarrassment. Thank goodness we have a strong & fully independent EPA!

Hopefully you find my posts helpful, but in no way should they be construed as advice. Make your own decision.
