I was surprised to learn that candidates for election to the board are required to submit to a selection process and if you don’t pass you can’t stand.
What is this body of selectors called? The Council of Guardians and does its head have the title of Supreme Ayatollah?
I would have thought the demise of Silver Fern Farms as a farmer owned co-operative would have alerted the rural sector to the dangers of having a board of yes men in the thrall of management.

Now I know why Fonterra treated A2M with such contempt all those years ago when they were a A2 denier could have bought in for .50 but due to supreme arrogance they waited until the S P was $10 + before they condescended to a business partnership, is Fonterra another FBU in waiting what with their very successful Chinese investments !!!
