That’s is an amazing quarterly update considering the loss of 7396 trading days, great effort by all in very trying times. Getting the lift in price well deserved and more to come.

Agree.
One opening new stores around the world,the other closing stores.
One a winner,the other a loser.
Easy choice which one to hold.
Just stand outside a Lovisa,then a Michael Hill,easy to see where the customers or in MHJ's case a lack of customers..

Percy will often pop onto the joyous MHJ thread and throw mud at poor ole MHJ, Last post if I recall was that he didnt think much of master Rob Fyfe.
Perhaps just doesnt like the old MHJ... when they were wasting money in USA expansion, tax issues, declining margins etc.
New MHJ is reborn with better management, better online offering, higher branded sales, making more by selling less etc
Ah well, turnaround stories not for everyone I guess.

Hi Percy, the drivel is MHJ has a pe of 8,LOV pe of 80.But of course LOV thoroughly deserves that and MHJ being a dog deserves a pe of only 8.

After 7 weeks of Q1 same stores were +17% up
Full quarter same store sales up an impressive 15%
The last 6 weeks of the must have been less than impressive ….things slowing down ....maybe only 13% in last 6 weeks
