Last week a bit more positive for the sector .... Radius the only decliner
Thanks W69
Its funny how Bull and dearly departed Beagle have been ripping on OCA so hard this year. Yet all the RV operators (ignore RAD) are down the same amount this year, give or take a few points when adding in dividends.
One would have thought the OCA SP was performing shockingly bad compared to SUM, RYM & ARV, based on their posts.

Around the end of Aug 2021 was about when they all peaked and starting turning over. From 30 Aug 2021, not including dividends, the relative SP performance chart shows:
ARV -31.10%
SUM -34.77%
OCA -38.56%
RYM -43.04%
About 14-17 June, all of them bottomed and since then RYM (+8.13%), SUM (+10.41%), OCA (+6.75%) are all slowly climbing. ARV (3.58%) is up a bit but double bottomed.
Past performance is not indicative of future performance but there’s no harm in visualising the future
Based on baabaa’s chart and the past relative movements it seems that retirement stocks will easily outperform the NZ50C over the next year or so …and the laggards over over last year in OCA and RYM will be the star performers
I look forward to BaaBaa putting a chart up in a years time
