Australia are also in a Healthcare crisis as is the UK Healthcare collapsing as well.
"In the 8 years since Health Workforce Australia was decommissioned in 2014, theres been absolutely no reasonable workforce planning" says ANMF Federal secretary Ms Butler.
Australia can't even put a figure on the numbers they're short at the moment its been so badly mismanaged but projections say they will need between 85,000 - 100,000 more nurses by 2025.

Healthcare crisis everywhere might have something to do with a global pandemic which no country prepared for.

I wouldn't have put it that way myself, but you have a point, National's Minister of Health Jonathan Coleman came in for some of the most vicious criticism for the severe underfunding of the health system for the 9 years National were in govt. Left huge problems for the incoming coalition govt.
The Health system is massive, bigger than the dairy industry & you can't fix a system like that overnight & then along came the pandemic.

There are obviously huge discrepancies in the standards of care & health services available in different areas of the country & Labours Health reforms will be attempting to fix this.
They've also made the largest increase ever in funding for PHARMAC allowing patients to access some amazing treatments & drugs which were unfunded under National.
