    Which part do you not understand? NZ army seems to be in a non lethal logistics and support role. Somebody needs to provide the buns ... and it even can carry containers full of them.

    But yes, I didn't even know that NZ has such large "warships" - though it sadly appears to miss some firepower ; Captain probably has a hand gun - this might do.

    I'll check with an ex Army NCO I know - there's a few of them around these days

    No worries - Artillery Fire direction and forward Close Air Support apparently...

    Well - I guess backwards looking tyrants and autocrats suppressing their own people will always support like minded crooks over democracies. They love each other. Naturally - this has nothing to do with the best interest of their people, but only with the best interest of the respective autocrat. Why would a bunch of undemocratic crooks like the CCP want to support any democratic system? A successful democracy is a danger for them and hey, same as Russia do they want to fullfill their imperialistic dreams and occupy and subdue still more people, take their human rights and if they don't turn belly up bomb the sh*t out of them. China used to do the same thing with Tibet ... and more recently with Hongkong. Taiwan will be next.

    Not strange that Xi supports the crook and murderer Putin, Modi supports the crook and murderer Putin, Erdoban flirts with the crook and murderer Putin and didn't Trump love this monster as well? Crooks just showing their true colours.

    But at least NZ has spoken up at last and will be welcomed back into the western fold.

    defence spending going to be a strong sector as others are hit by inflation.
