Davexl you do a great job should put you on a Euro news desk and you can retire across from the UKE nuclear plants on the baltic in FINLAND. Lots of bunkers in case you need to make a run for it.!!!

Heres a Russian who understands the whole thing is a total you know what ...

Thanks Waltzing, just need to give my select-copy-paste thumb a rest, old RSI injury and I'm on a trackball already.
I am passionate about the topic, but the full Guardian feed does a brilliant job IMO, just some human interest stuff that
while compelling, is a bit off topic.

That man Mikhail Kodaryonok - is one helluva brave dude, hope he doesn't get a bullet in his back or something equally
nasty, Russia would be a different country with more pragmatic commentary of that sort - the whole world would be better
off with more like him in China also of course...

BBUS doing well today up 10% in Oz - place to be IMO...wait for the next US market rally

US stocks suffer steepest drop in almost 2 years

    https://www.stuff.co.nz/business/wor...almost-2-years

    Excerpt:

"Elsewhere, the Biden administration in the US is poised to fully block Russia's ability to pay US bondholders after a deadline expires next week, a move that could bring Moscow closer to a default."

Interesting indeed ... makes you wonder whether there is a correlation between the badness a of a government and the amount of resources they are able to pump out of their soil. So much sanctioned oil ... pumped by absolutely immoral crooks fighting their own population as well as their neighbors.

Makes you also wonder, whether sanctions really work ... I guess at the end we just create a huge black market for sanctioned resources.

Anyway - some squeezes might be good.

Cheers for sharing - interesting source.

Russia has so much land too. The fact they can't make use of it is due to the shortcomings of their own people and government.
