Which version of the pied piper legend though?
Hope it's the one where the ungrateful villagers stumped up with the bags of gold payment after ungratefully refusing to pay for the services of the piper for getting rid of the infestation of rats (backdoor ones?) from the village.

Possibly the one where in an act if extreme retribution and revenge he leads a bunch of innocent kids into no mans land and they are never seen again. Nice.
