As is typical...2.5% of the market....now that is a big call!
I think the idea is that very few of the SMEs in the U.K. use online accounting software. Of those that do, Xero is the most popular. The takeaway is that as online solutions become more mainstream, there's a huge addressable market. Hence Rod's comment about just getting started.

Finally XRO retested $20. Globally, there could be some demand for tech stocks today.

Thats a good point. However at his Xerocon South presentation (which is also on youtube if people are interested) I believe his idea around "just getting started" was to do with how Xero are starting with machine learning / AI now that they are on Amazon Web Services. There are going to be some big leaps with Xero / cloud accounting software thanks to machine learning in the near future. Chat bots, automatic coding etc - Xeros work is only currently in beta - hence just getting started.

Not forgetting the move up the chain from small business accounting to accommodating medium-sized enterprises too. It feels like they will be using Xero (again) for their own accounting as soon as they can mange it.
Certainly interesting times ahead for Xero. They have got some grand plans.

6 month period just finished. What does this tweet mean? A/NZ has killed it? US lagging? What about the U.K.? When does the report come out? What about the share price? Up? Down? Panic. Sell sell sell.

Will they raise more capital? When are they going to report meaningful profit?
How about their market share in NZ, Australia, UK and the USA from 2020 onward?
Can it be takeover candidate?
What is the main reason for making losses or lower profit? Is it a short term event?
When should value investors buy this stock?

When should value investors buy this stock?
If Xero start to get any traction in the USA, If a worldwide major player begins to push Xero globally

Its doubled its AMCR but the shareprice is still below $20. US growth curve is ahead of the NZ growth curve (to be expected with a much bigger market and more developed product). If you wait for traction in the US, it could be too late (but if you jump in and they dont, then ...). Who do you want to push Xero?

value investors wouldn't purchase this stock until it delivers value, otherwise known as net profits and dividends...
